babakThe Deceased Engineer Mr. Babak Mohammadi was born in 1954 in Tehran in an educated family. He spent his childhood in Tehran and after completion of his school and high school course with excellent grades, he was admitted in the entrance exam of Tehran Poly Technique ( Amirkabir ) University while obtaining the first intelligence rank in the field of Civil Engineering and started his study. In 1976, while obtaining a B. S. degree from the university, he successfully completed his course of studies and he was immediately employed in “ Veresk” Company as head of the workshop and cooperated with the said company for a period of 4 years. In 1977, he married Ms. Masoumeh ( Mahrokh ) Alemi. In 1979 he lost his parents in a car accident in Semnan city during the period when they were engaged in establishment of a laboratory in Iran. In 1980 he cooperated with “ Taleghani Daftari “ Consulting Engineers Company as supervisor for one year.

The deceased person started his cooperation with “ Silo Development Jihad Company “ as project manager in 1981 and one year later he started working in “ Mahestan “ Company as the managing director and member of board of directors and served the society in this position for two years. In 1984 simultaneously with the birth of his child, he proceeded to establish the “Polodej ” Company with cooperation of his wife and a few friends. Until 2002 he was engaged in different development projects as managing director and thereafter as managing director and chairman of board of directors of the said company.

From the year 2000, he started execution of extraterritorial projects in a wide level and during 6 years, he completed 6 important foreign projects parallel with local projects. Eng. Babak Mohammadi concentrated more often on study and execution of extraterritorial projects as chairman of the board directors of “ Polodej “ Company since 2004.

It is pointed that since 2002 despite being apart from his family, due to his interest in his country and its development, he continued execution of development projects. The deceased Eng. Babak Mohammadi, during 32 years of his useful working life, completed 29 important local projects and 6 extraterritorial projects as follows:

He always was trying to initiate new methods for implementing projects such as Neka Power Planet and Rafsanjan Museum. During 37 years of hard working, he not only received 12 letters of appreciation by different employers but also awarded two prizes from Civil Engineering festival in 1996 and got his corporation validated and affirmed by UNIDO.
